Install Mounting Hardware

Connect Power

Tap power as described in the Fascard Reader Install - Universal Concepts document by connecting the C-5336 Power Adapter Harness to the power distribution panel inside the machine.
  1. 120vac: Connect the blue wire to L1 and the brown wire to N using the C-5101 Spade Taps.

  2. 240vac: Connect the blue wire to L1 and the brown wire to L2 using the C-5101 Spade Taps.

  3. Secure the green wire beneath the ground screw.

  • Connect the opposite end of the C-5336 Power Adapter Harness to the C-5602R1 Power Converter.

  • Connect the C-5500 Power Extension Harness to the appropriate connector on the C-5602R1 Power Converter. The remaining cable end connects to the FasCard reader.

    1. Disconnect the terminal quick connects from the terminal block mounted on top of the coin vault.

      1. Mark the outer green and red quick connects for later use if using C-5265 Machine Start Harness.

    2. Connect the C-5360 Coin Sense Harness to the terminal block tabs. Match each connection by color of the coin sensor wires.

    1. Enter the machine's System Menu and set the following settings (See machine programming manual for more info.)

        1. Liquid Soap Supply: Enabled

      2. Payment Settings:

        1. Enable Types: Disable all payment types

        2. Coin Options: Single

        3. Coin 1 Value: Intended Vend Price

        4. Coin 2 Value: Intended Vend Price

        5. Serial Payment System: Disabled

    2. On the FasCard Admin site, create a SingleVend equipment type with the following settings:

      1. Mode: Simple

      2. Pulse Length: 1000

      3. Pulse Interval: 250

      4. Pulse Type: Relay

      5. Sensor Input: Required Off

      6. Show Remaining Time: Disabled

      7. Cycle Time: 600 Seconds

      8. # Pulses: 1
