Overview
This document is intended to guide the user through the process of reverting from a Serial (AKA multivend) setup to a Pulse (AKA singlevend) configuration on washers and dryers. Note that multi-level pricing is not supported using a pulse configuration.

Installation
Step 1 - Disconnect Serial Harness

- Locate the Serial Machine Start Harness connected the card reader (sample harness displayed above).
- Disconnect the Serial Machine Start Harness from the card reader
- Disconnect the remaining end of the harness from the machine.
Step 2 - Connect Pulse Harness

- Connect the Pulse Machine Start Harness to the machine (sample harness displayed above).
- Refer to the appropriate kit documentation for FasCard or LaundryCard for specific instructions.
Step 3 - Configure Coin Mode
- Revert the machine from Serial/Card mode to Coin mode.
- This may require configuration or hardware changes dependent upon the machine manufacturer and model.
- Refer to appropriate configuration documentation for FasCard or LaundryCard for specific instructions.
- Additional configuration information may be found in the machine programming manual.
Step 4 - Configure Machine Pricing
- Configure coin value on the machine.
- Configure machine cycle price.
- LaundryCard systems must be configured to start on one pulse.
Step 5 - Configure Equipment Type
- A new singlevend equipment type must be configured in conjunction with the machine level changes.
