Collecting a FasCard Reader

TIP: Alerts can be configured to notify the operator when a collection is performed using the /wiki/spaces/DEV/pages/9906871 page on the Fascard FasCard Admin site. |
A collection should be performed on the FasCard reader any time cash is collected from the associated machine. Performing the collection when cash is collected will keep coin counts current in the Coin/Cash Totals report. Collection amounts can be verified using the Collections report and the date/time of the collection can be verified using the Machine Activity report. Collections may be performed by users with the Admin or Collector privileges as configured on the FasCard Admin Site - User Accounts page.

When performing a collection, any outstanding, uncredited coins will be recorded in the collection.
