This article describes how the LaundryCard Fisheye camera works and provides a brief FAQ regarding the camera. 

Version 9 Requirement

To include camera functionality, your LaundryCard system must be operating on version 9 or greater.

General Information

As of version 9, CCI has reintroduced the LaundryCard camera. Its purpose is to take a photo whenever a customer purchases a new card or adds value to their existing card. Operators can view these photos within a customer's card account details, as shown in this document.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the camera take a photo when a card is purchased or is it always recording video?

A: A single photo is taken during any 'Add-value' transaction. 

Q: Where can the photos be accessed? 

A: By either a card search or by viewing the Card Activity report. 

Q: Are the image files names with a user's card number within Windows? 

A: Yes. If you would like to obtain a copy of them, please contact CCI Technical Support. 

Q: Do the photos get deleted automatically after some time? 

A: No. They must be removed/deleted manually. 

Q: Is there a subscription fee for using the camera? 

A: No. Once you purchase the camera and install it accordingly, it will be fully functional.
