Overview

This page is intended to outline the process of configuring a newly established FasCard account in broad strokes and provides the Admin user with links to relevant documentation for each step.

On this Page

Step 1 - Login

User credentials for the system operator will be provided by Card Concepts Inc. More information on the FasCard Login page is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Login documentation page.

Step 2 - Add Locations and Location Groups

A minimum of one location should be configured. Operators with multiple locations that wish to manage pricing for entire groups of locations at one time may want to configure Location Groups. More detailed information is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Location Setup and FasCard Admin Site - Location Groups pages.

Step 3 - Add User Accounts

Additional user accounts may now be configured for additional administrators and employees. More information on User Accounts is available on the FasCard Admin Site - User Accounts documentation page.

Step 4 - Add Satellites to Locations

Each location requires a minimum of one Satellite Access Point to function properly. The Satellite serves as the gateway between the local FasCard system and the FasCard servers and is vital to proper operation. More information on Satellite configuration is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Satellite Setup page.

Step 5 - Add Equipment Types

Correct configuration of equipment types is required for proper machine operation in conjunction with the FasCard readers. Information regarding equipment setup is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Equipment Setup page.

Step 6 - Add Machines to Locations

Once all equipment types have been configured, individual machines must be added to the desired location. Technical Support recommends numbering physical machines according to the associated FasCard reader address. More information regarding machine setup is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Machine Setup page.

Step 7 - Configure Pricing and Features

Once all equipment types have been configured and all machines added to the FasCard system, all that remains is to configure vend prices and features for the associated equipment types. Information regarding pricing and features is available on the FasCard Admin Site - Pricing & Features Schedule page.
