  • X-Changer A (This System)
  • Network.err

Requirements

Keys to open front and rear of X-Changer

Identify Network Device

LINKSYS (hub)

Consider replacing original Linksys network hubs with newer switches less prone to failure. Any 5-8 port 10/100 switch will do.

DELL POWER CONNECT (switch)

CISCO or D-Link (switch)

Reboot Power to Network Device

Make sure there are no red lines indicating DB or CSV backup failure before rebooting. If so, please contact CCI support immediately. When working on the system network, transactions may slow down. Ideally, wait until after funds are added to cards and machines are started.

  1. Make sure you have the rear (front on some LITE systems) open on both cabinets.

  2. Starting with X-Changer A, locate the network device power plug.

  3. Remove power from this device for 10-15 seconds then reconnect power.
Give the system 60 seconds to sync.

  4. Proceed to X-Changer B and locate the network device power plug - repeat step 3.

  5. Test: buy a new card and insert existing cards on both X-Changers to verify there are no errors.
