Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer - Restarting a Cancelled/Aborted Cycle

Symptom

Previously, when attempting to cancel a running cycle within Regret Time, a customer was required to resubmit payment and could not restart the same program that was originally selected and paid for. 

Reason

This is due to the system registering payment as having been received and processed. Once payment is received and a cycle has begun, the transaction process is already complete as was intended by design; hence, all remaining activity is machine-dependent. 

However, Laundrylux Compass Pro washers at a base factory level have a set ability to restart the same aborted program without requiring resubmitted payment, if cancelling/aborting a cycle is enabled.

Resolution

Updating to the latest FasCard / FLEX Reader Firmware applicable for Laundrylux Compass Pro Washers will now permit one free start at the recent cycle's cost if said cycle had been cancelled/aborted.

NOTE

This option is currently only available with FasCard / FLEX systems running v1.16.07+ Laundrylux Compass Pro Washer Reader Firmware with appropriate configured menu options enabled to be active while the machine has been started.
