Accepting EBT in Your LaundryCard Store - Requirements & Pricing
Overview
This document outlines the requirements and processing for accepting EBT payments in your laundromat. If you are interested in accepting EBT, please read through this entire document. General Information
Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) is an electronic system that allows a participant to make purchases using general welfare benefits. For a customer to use EBT for laundromat purchases, their card must be tied to a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), cash benefits program. If an EBT card is not tied to a cash benefits program, the card will be declined.
In order for your laundromat to begin accepting EBT, you must meet the hardware and software requirements of your card system. See information below for me details, and contact CCI if you would like to proceed!
There is a one-time CCI setup fee of $899 per store for the licensing and process of getting EBT setup in your laundromat.
*This one-time fee is separate from all other fees listed below, and does not include the price of hardware.
EBT Acceptance Checklist
Your store must have X-Changer v2 Cabinets (EBT capable card swipes are not available for v1 Cabinets).
Your X-Changers must be running LaundryCard v9 software.
Your X-Changers must be using the VP3300 credit card bezels.
You must currently be on (or moved to) WorldNet credit card gateway.
You must currently be on (or moved to) ISVPay merchant processor.
You must purchase an EBT license upgrade for the X-Changers.

Processor Requirements
In order to accept EBT in your LaundryCard system, you need to be on the gateway processor WorldNet, and you need to be on the payment processor ISVPay. If you are on WorldNet but not currently using ISVPay for your merchant processing, you will need to migrate in order to accept EBT payments.
Processor Pricing
The pricing of the Worldnet payment gateway is included below:
Monthly fee: $15
Fee per transaction: $.07
One Time Setup Fee: $99 (Separate from CCI's setup fee)
EBT Enablement: $25 per month, unlimited transactions (Collected through ISVPay)
Once the EBT interest form is filled out a representative from ISVPay will be in contact to answer any questions related to all merchant processing costs.
Hardware Requirements
In order to accept EBT in your LaundryCard system, you must be using our VP3300 EMV Bezel on your LaundryCard X-Changers.
Hardware Pricing & Ordering
Note
The price of hardware is not included in the one-time CCI setup fee of $899 per store mentioned earlier.
This fee is per location not per X-Changer.
The cost of the one-time CCI setup fee of $899 will be shown on the same quote as the required hardware.
The VP3300 EMV Bezel & assoicated hardware for LaundryCard EBT acceptance must be purchased through your local distributor.
To purchase the VP3300 EMV Bezel for LaundryCard stores, please contact CCI for a quote. You must purchase an EMV + EBT upgrade kit, which varies in cost starting at $2,199.
Note for existing Ingenico EMV bezel customers:
If you already own an EMV solution using the Ingenico EMV bezels under Datacap and Paystri, then it is recommended to buy new v9 acrylic panels. When the Ingenico EMV bezels are removed, there will be holes left in the acrylic from where the bezel was mounted. The v9 acrylic we'll recommend has Ingenico mounting cutouts removed.

Requirements
A compatible MEI/CPi Bill Note Acceptor that can accommodate the VP3300 EMV Bezel.
A Worldnet gateway account set up by CCI.
An ISVPay proccessing account initiated by CCI.
v2 X-Changer Cabinets.
A VP3300 EMV Bezel needs to be installed on every X-Changer.
Software Requirements
To accept EBT on LaundryCard, you need to be on LaundryCard Version 9.1.9 or higher. If you are on LaundryCard Version 8 or earlier, you will need to go through our Version 9 upgrade process. The steps to complete this, and the pricing associated with a Version 9 upgrade can vary.
