Connect CCI MikroTik Firewall
It's important to get the remote access hardware configured and working. With this connection, the CCI support team can help you with the software setup as well as assist in any trouble shooting. The default remote access hardware is internet based. In order to make this service work properly the location must have high-speed internet service installed by a local internet service provider.
A laptop with a Wireless and a Wired network connection will be required to setup the internet connection at the location. Make sure you have the required equipment before calling CCI for setup.
Connecting the firewall to the X-Changer
Connect the Firewall from port 1 into the internet modem device.
Connect a Network cable from port 2 on the firewall into the network switch of the X-Changer closest to the modem. NOTE: Only ports 1 and 2 are operational on the firewall. Any other devices need to be plugged directly into an X-Changer Switch.
Make sure the firewall is mounted outside the X-Changers for easy access.
Firewall may take up to 15 minutes to fully configure. Please wait for it to finish configuring before contacting CCI.
All Lights on top of Firewall should turn off when configuration is complete.
