LaundryCard Bonus Dollars & Point-of-Sale (POS) Services
This page provides a brief overview of utilizing Bonus dollars with Point-of-Sale transactions.
General Information
New to LaundryCard v9.1.7, store owners now have the ability to allow customers to use any Bonus value on their Loyalty card for Point-of-Sale (POS) transactions, from over-the-counter transactions that are set up to accept Loyalty cards as a form of payment, to offered services such as a Wash-and-Fold that a store may provide via Loyalty balance and bonus dollars.
How It Works
Enabling the ability to "Allow Bonus on POS Transactions" can be found under Marketing → Settings with the correct permissions to modify the required setting itself.
When check-enabling Allow Bonus on POS Transactions in the Misc Settings section, POS transactions conducted using a Loyalty card as payment will thus use a customer's Bonus amount before applying what remaining Balance is required to cover the cost of the product or service provided.
The percentage amount of Bonus applied before Balance is used is determined by the Bonus Redemption Rate percentage.
Note
Should there be more Bonus than the available Balance to where the total amount covers the cost, Bonus will be utilized up to 100% of the product/service cost, if necessary.
