Overview

The FasCard system offers operators various components that assist in day-to-day usage of the FasCard system. Recognizing these parts and their purposes are vital to the smooth operation of the FasCard system. This page will help you determine what version hardware you have for key FasCard components.

Defining Features

  • Color LCD Touchscreen.

  • Matte display.

  • Two Variants using different System-on-Chips (SoCs):

    • Original ('Non-A') version uses legacy Texas Instruments CC3220 SoC.

    • Updated ('A') version uses updated Texas Instruments CC3235 SoC.

    • F2/F2a/F2e readers allow for credit/debit swipe and EBT swipe functionality for EBT-enabled FasCard accounts.

    • F3/F3a/F3e readers allow for EMV credit/debit chip, NFC, or direct swipe use, and EBT swipe functionality for EBT-enabled FasCard accounts.

  • Compatible with both C-1004 MEI Legacy and C-1004-V2 CPI MEI Talos Bill Note Acceptors.
