LaundryCard Reader Flat-Mount Bezel Installation

Overview

 This document is intended to guide the user through removal of the standard LaundryCard reader bezel and installation of a flat-mount bezel.

The completion of this guide requires a flat mount bezel similar to the one listed above.  Actual bezel may vary- consult appropriate kit information or contact Technical Support for individual part information.

Required Tools and Supplies (Not Included)

• Needle nose pliers

Installation

Step 1 - Remove Existing Bezel

1. Remove any existing label surrounding the card slot on the card reader, if necessary.

2. Remove the four screws securing the plastic grey bezel to the LaundryCard reader.

   1. Two screws are located above the card slot and two are located below.

   2. Retain screws for flat mount bezel install.

3. Gently remove the plastic bezel.

Step 2 - Attach the Flat Mount Bezel

1. Place the LaundryCard reader assembly against the flat mount bezel and secure with four screws retained in step 1.

2. Using needle nose pliers, gently bend the bracket holding the card reader screen until it lies flush against the upper slot in the flat mount bezel.

   1. Use caution as card reader circuitry and LCD screens are fragile.

3. Once LaundryCard reader is satisfactorily secured and positioned, flat mount bezel may be mounted on appropriate machine facing using the materials provided in the associated kit.
