IMPORTANT
Presently, all users within an Advanced LaundryCard Live account are able to view/edit the Alerts page with no filter between management and employee staff.
This is a known issue that will be addressed in a future update.
The Alerts Page
Accessible from the System Dashboard, the Alerts page allows users to set up and configure alerts to be emailed to one or multiple email addresses, should an error alert be triggered.
Alert Emails
When any alerts are set up, notification emails assigned to each alert created are sent shortly after its related issue occurs until either any or all active alerts triggered are resolved, silenced, or deleted.
Location Offline | System Errors (Red Line) | Remote Backup |
---|---|---|
Alert Types
Alert | Description |
---|---|
Location Offline | This alert triggers when a store location is unable to connect or communicate with the LaundryCard Live servers. |
System Errors (Red Line) | This alert aligns with any error(s) that the local X-Changers are generating directly for the store location in question. |
Remote Backup | This alert triggers when the local X-Changers at a store location are unable to upload a copy of its regular Backup to the LaundryCard Live servers. Sometimes, this alert can coincide with the Location Offline alert. |
Configure Alert(s)
Click or tap on the Choose... dropdown to select which alert you would like to set an email to.Â
Note: There is no restriction to the amount of times you want to assign multiple instances of the same alert.
In the Recipients field, enter the email address(es) you would like to receive the chosen alert. If multiple email addresses, separate each email using a comma.
Click the (+) Add Alert button. On mobile devices, only the Add (+) symbol will display.
Silence Alerts
In the event that any active alerts need to be disabled, a Silence column is present for each alert row. For instance, if three System Errors (Red Line) alerts are configured and only one of the alerts needs to be active for an individual user at all times, you can click/drag or tap/slide the Silence slider to the right to stop an alert row until the Silence function is disabled.
Delete Alerts
To the right of each alert row is a delete icon, allowing to clear an alert row of a user's choosing. Alerts can be re-added at any time.
