C-1029-SA | Card dispenser extension kit Mounting parts ONLY for C-1025 |
A C-1029-SA Card Dispenser Extension Kit, which includes:
A C-1029 Card Dispenser Extension Bracket.
Five (5) C-1074 2/56x1/4 0.05” 18-8 stainless steel flat socket cap hex screws.
Five (5) C-1074N 2/56 steel hex cap nuts.
A C-5435 0.050” hex key.
Alternatively, a 0.050” (1.3mm) hex bit/driver may also be utilized.
A Philips Screwdriver (preferably PH1 tip).
Access to the front of the X-Changer.
Needle-nose pliers.
Instructions
Open the X-Changer Cabinet Door from the front.
Disconnect the card dispenser harness and remove any cards and weight from the existing card dispenser.
At this stage, if you prefer to install the C-1029 Card Dispenser Extension Bracket onto the card dispenser away from the X-Changer, you can unmount the card dispenser and relocate to another secure flat surface such as a table. Otherwise, you can mount the extension bracket directly from within the X-Changer door panel.
Position the extension bracket to be held in place length-wise with the opening facing the back of the dispenser with the screw holes lined up.
Once aligned, insert one C-1074 Hex Screw into one of the four (4) the applicable screw holes and begin to fasten the C-1074N Hex Cap Nut onto the screw until you can no longer fasten the screw and nut by hand.
Using the C-5435 0.050” Hex key, or a 0.050” (1.3mm) hex bit/driver and needle nose pliers, tighten the four (4) hex screws and nuts in place. You can feed a screwdriver or long hex key through each hole above the mounting points to reach the adjacent hex screw for tightening.
Reload customer loyalty cards to capacity and reattach the card dispenser harness.
The increase in allowed card volume should now exceed the height of the dispenser hopper.
With a Phillips Screwdriver, remove the chain from the card dispenser weight and reapply the card dispenser weight.
