How-to enable Card Reader Communications (Card Mode) on Machines

Pre-ACA Controls

Power Down the Machine. Connect the C-0110-CP Jumper plug to the H6 connection on the Machine Control Assembly.

Open

A-Micro Controls

Enabling Card communication on Alliance A-Micro Washers

ACA Controls

Power Down the Machine. Flip Dipswitch 3 (on the Machine Control Board) to the 'ON' position. Leave all other dip switches as is.

Open

Alliance Touch Controls

1. Navigate to System Menu

2. Select Settings

3. Select Vend Settings

4. Select Payment Settings

5. Under Serial/Pulse Interface

   1. Serial Payment System > Enable

   2. Card Reader > Enable

   3. Coin > Disable

Titanium Controls

Enabling card mode must be done at the machine programming level by setting the SErPAY option to "CArd" and CArdEn to "On".

Giant-C Washers

LG Giant-C Washer Programming 

1. Open washer door

2. Press and hold the 1 key until 'Cod' appears on the display.

3. Press 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4

4. 'Pro' appears on the display, press the 2 key repetitively until 'nod' appears on the display

5. Press the 1 key repetitively until 'Id-0- appears on the display

6. Press the 2 key one time, 'Id-1' appears on the display

7. Press the 1 key one time

8. Press the Stop key

1. Enter the program menu:

   1. Swipe horizontally the upper left corner of the screen (Swipe at least 1/3 the way across the top of the screen for best results.).

   2. (If password is enabled) Enter the 4-digit numeric code (default: 1-2-3-4).

2. Enabling card reader communication:

   1. Enter into the system settings menu.

   2. Select the Gear Icon

   3. Navigate to Connectivity > Internal GirNet.

   4. Enable the Active option.

3. Changing the control from Pro to Vended mode

   1. Enter into the system settings menu.

   2. Select the Gear Icon, then navigate to General Settings > Control Type.

   3. Set the Control Type setting to Vended.
