How-to set up a VPN connection to a LaundryCard Store - Android

Required Items

  • VPN Username and Password (issued by CCI).

  • Static IP address (provided by location's internet service provider).

  • A high speed internet connection.

  • If you do not have a PIN set up on your phone, Android will require you to create one in order to use VPN.

  • VPN services can be disrupted when Android device is running in 'power saver mode.'

Step-by-Step Guide for Android Version 9

Setting up the VPN Profile

  1. On your Android device, locate and open Settings. 




  2. Then select Connections. 





  3. Then locate and select More Connection Settings. 





  4. Select VPN. 





  5. Select the three dots. 





  6. Then select Add VPN Profile.





  7. You will then be shown the following, Edit VPN Network details:  

    1.  Name of Location: Give the connection a name associated with location. 

    2. Type: PPTP. 

    3. Server address: Static IP address. 

    4. PPP encryption: Enabled. 

    5. Show advanced options: Enabled. 

    6. Username: Enter the CCI provided username.

    7. Password: Enter your password configured at password.laundrycard.com. 




  8. Once you have filled in the necessary components, from above, select Save. 

Connecting to the Store

  1. Select the VPN connection's name had given it. 

  2. Then select Connect.
