FasCard Admin Site - Location Setup

Overview

The Location Setup page is only accessible by users with Admin privileges or with Location Setup privileges.  This page allows users to configure new locations or existing locations.  The Location Setup page also allows users to add, edit and delete Satellite Access Points.

Location Details and Configuration

The Locations page located under the Setup tab allows Admin users to add new or edit existing locations.  Users may add and configure locations by clicking the Add New button and completing the Location Details as described below.  If there's a specific location logo associated with the site, it also may be uploaded to the site location through this page as well.  See below for more information on how to upload logo images for a location.

Clicking the row of any listed location will display the location details and configuration options for any satellites, Cellular Modem Router devices, and even equipment and total machine counts assigned to that specific location.

Location Listing

This is an alphabetical list of all of the locations configured for the system.   Clicking anywhere on the row of a highlighted location will select that location and show the location details.

Search

A search box is provided to allow users to easily search for a specific location if needed.

Reset

This button will clear any search criteria from the search box and display all locations. 

ID

The location ID as identified in the FasCard database.

Location

The given name of the Location.  This also serves as a link to the selected Location setup page.

Address 

The address for the specified location.

Map Link

Displays the location of the address on Google Maps.

Phone 

The phone number for the specified location.

Time Zone

The active time zone at the location.

Location Group

(If Enabled) Drop down menu will all configured groups, all locations must be a member of a group.  This also serves as a link to the selected Location Group setup page.

Status 

This displays the status of the location as Active or Disabled.

Machines

This displays the number of machines at the location.  It also serves as a link to the Machine setup page for the selected location.

Equips

This displays the number of Equipment Types at the location

 

Add or Edit a Location

The Machines link roughly adjacent to the Satellites section will redirect the user to the Machine setup page for the selected location.

Select a desired location from the List to edit the details for the location, or click Add New to create a new location.  When adding a new location, complete any required fields and desired optional fields before clicking Save.

Location Created

Date of location creation. Only displays after location is saved.

First Transaction

Date of first transaction. Only displays after first transaction is complete.

Name

The given name of a specific location.  This is a required field.

Address 1

The street address for the specified location.  This is a required field.

Address 2

Any additional information, i.e. building number.

City

The city information for specified location.

State

The two letter state abbreviation for the location.

Zip

The five digit Zip Code for the location.

Phone

The phone number for the specified location.  If this field is left blank, the 'Call Location' feature will be hidden from the FasCard Loyalty Site & Mobile App.  

Building ID

Used to help identify/describe a location, useful for apartment complexes where one address may have many locations.

Room ID

Used to help identify/describe a location, useful for apartment complexes where one address may have many locations.

Time Zone

The active time zone at the location, primarily used in reporting and status functions.

Default Language

This field sets the default card reader language with a choice of English or Spanish (on supported firmware only).  

Location Group

This drop down menu will display all configured Location Groups (if enabled) in alphabetical order.

MagStripe Merchant ID

Used to define locations by unique identifiers on the credit card merchant proccesser end.
Note: This field is only visible if Pineapple Payments is the active 'Service Type'.

Enabled

If check box is not checked, transactions will not be processed for this location.

CCI Enabled

If check box is not checked, CCI will not be able to remotely access the system.

Flex

If check box is checked, the account will be configured as a FLEX location.
Note: Only system administrators and the FasCard Project Manager has access to this setting.

Amenities

List of location specific details that an operator wants customers to know, list appears on mobile/desktop web pages.  Often used to advertise store specials or to display store hours.

Upload Logo Artwork for a Location

FasCard Owners can upload store logo artwork so that it appears on the FasCard App for customers for each location. 

See below on how to upload a logo to a location.

  1. Log into your FasCard Admin account.

  2. Select Locations.

  3. Select the specific location to which you wish to add the logo, or click Add New to add a new site.

  4. In the FasCard App section, select Upload Logo.

  5. Select the file to upload from your computer.

  6. Select the preferred colors.

  7. Select Save. 

  8. The newly configured logo will display on the Mobile App for a Loyalty Customer.

Adding a Cellular Modem Router (CMR)

If a location had purchased and set up a plan with CCI to use a Cellular Modem Router (CMR) and the information is not already pre-entered into the Admin Site, a customer administrator, authorized personnel with correct Locations permissions, or authorized CCI employee will need to provide the required data.

Type

This dropdown field displays the type of Cellular coverage the CMR is using. As of Release33, the only available option in the dropdown is Verizon 4G.

Plan

This field allows users to set whether the CMR will be used as the primary or backup internet source.

Device

This field allows users to select the model/type of CMR device being used.

Hardware ID

This field is for entering the Hardware ID of the CMR device.

SIM Card ID

This field is for entering the SIM Card ID of the SIM Card being used for the CMR device.

Wireless Number

This field is for entering the wireless number the CMR uses.

 

All fields must be filled out in order to store the CMR’s information for that particular location.

If a CMR is being migrated from another account or location, an error will populate based on what information was duplicated from the previous account or location.

Delete a Location

All associated Satellites and Machines must be deleted prior to deleting a Location. The processes for removing those devices are described on the FasCard Admin Site - Satellite Configuration and FasCard Admin Site - Machine Setup pages, respectively.

Follow the steps below to delete an existing location.

  1. Navigate to the Locations page under the Setup tab.

  2. Select the location designated for deletion.

  3. Click Delete Location at the bottom of the page.

  4. Click OK when prompted to confirm deletion, or click Cancel to keep the site.

Satellites

This section lists the configured Satellite Access Points for the selected location.  A location may have one or multiple satellites configured but each satellite requires a unique MAC Address. Additionally, a single satellite may also host FasCard Access Points (FCAPs). See FasCard Admin Site - Satellite Configuration for more information.

FCAPs

This section lists any FasCard Access Points (FCAPs) that have been set up under any individual satellite. The FCAPs window can be accessed by clicking the specific satellite that FCAPs are assigned to.

A location may have one satellite and one or multiple FCAPs, depending on the system configuration chosen at time of install or any hardware updates / refreshes.

Equipment

This section displays a table of specific equipment names, types, number of machines, and current assigned firmware for its corresponding equipment.
