FasCard Admin Site - Satellite Configuration

Overview

Satellite Access Points are the wireless link between the FasCard readers and the internet.  All Locations requires one or more satellites depending upon store size and reader quantity. Each satellite must have a unique name and MAC Address- this is configured on the FasCard Admin Site - Location Setup  page.

Configuring Satellite Access Points

FasCard accounts are only allowed a specific allotment of card readers and satellites. If a 'Cannot add satellite because it will over the max number allowed' error is displayed when adding a new satellite, contact CCI Support for further assistance.

Adding satellites to a new or existing location requires minimal user configuration which is performed by editing the appropriate fields as outlined below and clicking Save.
