How-to Clear all LaundryCard Transaction Data

WARNING

This procedure is not reversible and should be performed by the store owner!

Overview

This document will guide the store owner through clearing all transaction data (sales/reports/etc) from a LaundryCard system without affecting card details.

Required Items

  • Access to the inside of the X-Changer. 

  • USB keyboard.

  • USB mouse.

 

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Connect the USB keyboard and mouse to the computer.

  2. Insert a Manager card.

  3. Navigate to the Clear All Transactions screen.

    1. For v8 and prior: Manager → Clear All Transactions

    2. For v9 and greater: Maintenance → Clear All Transactions

  4. A warning screen will appear. Press <Continue>.

  5. Wait for the LaundryCard applications to be shut down.

  6. A window will appear with two buttons. Press <Continue (delete records)>.




  7. Type the phrase "DELETE ALL TRANSACTIONS" (case sensitive) then press <OK>.




  8. Enter your name into the prompt then press <OK>.

  9. On the desktop (blue screen), open File Explorer (WINDOWS  button + E) and navigate to D:\CCI\Reports\Totals\.

  10. Delete all .csv and .htm files within the Totals folder (do not delete the folder itself!).

 

Note

While card details (names, bonuses, balance, etc) will not be affected, all card activity will be cleared.
