How-to Check Dexter Machine Firmware

This guide describes how to check the machine firmware on a Dexter washer or dryer.

Step-by-step guide

Dexter machines have different firmware components, the combination of which are part of a firmware "level".

Washers: Master, Secondary, Communication
Dryers: Main, Communication

1. Power cycle the Dexter machine.

2. As the machine powers up, the display will read "M XX.XX.XX" where XX is the version of the master/main firmware.

3. This will then be followed by S and C versions depending if it's a washer or dryer.
